The Bezbradica family settled in the village of Riđica in 1945, where they found existing vineyards dating back to the 1930s. The whole family continued the tradition of viticulture that they brought from Dalmatia, the municipality of Kistanje, the village of Bezbradice. The vineyards cover 2 hectares. They weren’t familiar with all the varieties here, they called them “ružica” (“rose”). No sooner than the 1990s the old “ružica” assortment gets a partner, Italian Riesling. In 2011, Rhine Riesling was planted, and in 2014, the entire vineyard was replanted with a newly created variety from the Institute in Sremski Karlovci, which was called “Pannonia”, and in 2015, Burgundy Grey was planted. They are especially proud of the new variety “Pannonia”, which is unique in this area, completely organic and without chemical protection. The new wine is named “Bura” (a strong wind in Dalmatia). In 2016, the Merlot Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties arrived, and then the Bezbradica winery started cooperating with the Marjanović winery from Šabac. Together they have founded the new winery “Adut”, which is currently under preparation.
